Abbey Road was only marginally on our list of things to do in London, but some friends of mine really wanted to go so Lana and I tagged along. Turns out it was not only neat to see where The Beatles spent so much time, it was an amazing people watching spot.
I was blown away with the intensity with which people try and recreate the famous album cover. I’m surprised any vehicles go down this road, it must be so obnoxious to have to wait for people to pose. Some people even sat down in the middle of the road for a picture!
Spectators aren’t allowed in the actual studios but we spent a bit of time in the shop next door.
