We saw this sign while walking through Vauxhall Park on our way to the Tube.
So! No adults allowed. Definitely. Luckily we were allowed to wander through the rest of the park. Just not the kiddy area. Phew.
I wanted to see Vauxhall as it comes up a lot in Regency romances like Georgette Heyer (If you like innocent yet steamy regency romance novels, you should check her books out by the way). The Park is a tiny portion of the land that was called the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens. It was a hangout spot for concerts and what it’s way back to the min 1600s. It doesn’t look anything like I assume it used to, but it was fun nonetheless, wandering through the grounds.
