Burning Cold

Burning Cold

A few months ago or so, my family took a weekend camping trip to the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Zapata Falls in Colorado. While the entire weekend was incredibly fun, one moment in particular will always stand out to me. I kind of knew it would be memorable and that I might want to blog about it so I took a picture.

You know how your feet can get so cold they feel like they’re burning? This was worse than that. But it was such an amazing spot that I didn’t want to miss it.

There were smarter travelers in water shoes and things, but you have to go with what you have. So there I was, wading thru this incredibly cold water in my flip flops. It worked out ok, we made it back safely.

What I think about. Things that happen to me. Stuff I like. And other things.
