These flowers were seen at the Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado, an amazing pocket of sand dunes in the middle of normal Southwestern scenery.
It never gets old to me how things just insist on growing here in the dry Southwest. I can struggle like crazy getting my garden to do anything, but plants that belong here just grow, no matter what. It’s amazing.
