Just yesterday, my sister-in-law was breastfeeding at a rec center pool in her community and was approached and asked to cover up (pools being widely known to promote modest dress). Among her replies was that she was pretty sure Jesus was breastfed.

Oh, I nearly forgot the most relevant part, which is that the rationale for the cover-up request was the rec facility was a Christian facility.

The stories I have heard of breastfeeding women being asked to cover up at pools. . . sigh. Did your SIL talk to the management?

Indeed she did. The funny thing that came out later was that there was already some kind of La Leche League conference scheduled there sometime in the next few months!
