We are getting in the Christmas spirit around here finally. I made biscochitos with one of my sons today. We made one batch with rice/potato/tapioca flour another with wheat flour. Delicious.
Sunday night we drove up to the Sandia Crest (for those of you not from Albuquerque, that’s the top most point of the mountains on the east edge of town) to watch the sunset. There’s a great viewing area and tons of great trails. But on Sunday we were not there for hiking, just sunset watching.…

According to Weather Underground, Albuquerque set a record snowfall of 4.3 inches yesterday which breaks an old record of 1.0 from 1967. One of our local news stations says we got 8 inches over the last two days. And it’s the most snow since a big storm that blew through shortly after we moved here. If you read my posts…
