Nourishing the Body and the Soul

I eat this delicious veggie soup when I am feeling like I need to get everything working again. It’s surprisingly filling and especially when it’s as cold and blustery out as it is right now it’s comfort food for my soul. And it’s energizing too!

It’s basically chicken stock, celery, onions, peppers, red chile, carrots, tomatoes, green beans, garlic, salt.

Isn’t it super pretty when it’s cooking? When it’s all cooked through, I blend the living daylights out of it with my hand mixer so I can pour it in a cup and drink it without a spoon.

  1. Mmmmm! Looks so yummy! We are made as vegetarians physically anyway. Our teeth are flat, for crushing up fruits and veggies… Sharp K-9’s are for tearing flesh. So it even shoes… And you know? It’s not nice to fool mother nature! Enjoy! Oh, I’m drooling… Cheers!
