On a recent road trip we stopped in Memphis. I’ve never been there and I really wanted to see the Lorraine Motel where MLK, Jr. was killed. It would have been fun to go to Graceland and see where Elvis lived, but it was a tad cost prohibitive for the whole family, so we settled for a nice stroll down Beale Street. We especially liked the notes and stars on the sidewalk that indicated artists who had been there.
